Screenwriter

Jack has a library of original scripts and recently teamed up with Hong Kong based Celestial Pictures to produce his screenplay Remote Control. The thriller will be shot in Mandarin - with all non-Chinese language rights retained by Messitt.

Messitt's screenplay Trust was produced by TF1 International. The thriller starring Jamie Luner (Melrose Place, All My Children) recently debuted on Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network, Movie Central and the numerous TF1 networks throughout international markets.

He recently finished the script Kaloyev, a drama for Bigfoot Entertainment based on the actual events surrounding the 2001 Uberlingen airline disaster. Jack also served as Story Consultant on Bigfoot's feature film Irreversi, which filmed in Hong Kong and will debut at AFM later this year.

Working together with manga publishing giant Tokyopop, Messitt wrote the screenplay and is attached to direct the adaptation of the graphic novel 12 days.

Messitt was the co-Writer of Midnight Movie - Winner of the Best Feature Film at the 2008 Chicago Horror Film Festival.
